Let me introduce myself.
My name is April and if you can’t already tell, I love solar power!
I created this site to show others just how easy it is to start to use the power of the sun and harness it in a variety of ways.
The sun is always there and generous with it’s light. How amazing that we can use it for energy.
I hope that this website will be a great resource for you. You don’t have to be off-grid to use solar and begin saving your hard-earned cash. There are a variety of ways to reduce your reliance on the grid even while being connected to it.
If you are off grid or would like to be off grid, I hope you find the information here very useful. Solar is great for those living off grid.
How Did I Get Into Solar Power?
Well, it all started with Youtube and tiny houses. You can learn a lot about living off-grid and alternatively on Youtube!
I love tiny houses, container homes and yurts. I also love homes that move like RVs, converted buses (or skoolies), camper trailers, vanlife, you name it.
Watching people who have made their own way in the world and finding a way to take care of their needs while moving or living differently is inspiring.
