This is my Energy Learning Center page. It is page of sites that have knowledge about living off-the-grid or how to live with less power. Knowledge is the key! What holds people back from doing anything is the wisdom to actually do it. It scares people to try or do something new. It is only when they have no choice to do something that they finally do it. I am not saying nobody tries new things. There are some people who like to try or do new things. Those are the people who learn all they can about the subject they want to try. Like people who want to use solar or wind power for their homes. Many complain about the cost or the inconvenience of using it before they even attempt it. So I am including on this page sites that you can go to and learn about it. Read it. Research it. Look for more information on Google. It is going to be the way of the future.
One of my favorite sites for information is Backwoods Solar. They have a lot of information on their website and also have a very informative catalog. Most of my equipment came from there. Even my Premier propane cooking range. They favor off-the-gridders and will answer any of your questions quite freely.
Here are some other articles and sites that I thought may be of interest to my readers. As I find new ones I will keep adding to this page so be sure to check back.
